What Do I Need to Know About BOTOX?

BOTOX Cosmetic is and FDA approved treatment for the temporary reduction of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, forehead and eyes (crows feet) of patients between 18 and 65 years of age. BOTOX Cosmetic works by blocking nerve impulses causing reduction in the movement of the muscles responsible for causing these lines. With less movement, the skin surface gradually smoothes out, and the moderate to severe lines begin to fade.
